Several months later and after further market research and talking to several investors, I unfortunately could not convince an investor to move forward with the proposed 2nd prototype and implementation.
The device must have more value for money than currently estimated.
I still believe in the idea, but without an investor, I’ve decided to pause the project for now.
I learned a lot and hope to restart the device or start on something new soon. Ideas welcome!

Testing outcome and next steps – Prototype 2 setup
After rigorous testing by fellow golfers of my club, I have decided to look at building a more compact golf stroke counter prototype that is easy to take by both male and female players.
I am looking at other partners for this second prototype and investors to ensure production volume.
I hope this will result in the launch of a second prototype shortly, but time will tell.
Prototypes arrived and are being tested!
A bit later than planned, but I have finally received two prototype devices a few weeks back and have been putting them to test 🙂
